Students’ Motivation in Learning English

چکیده

This study aims to determine students' motivation in learning English and its effect on their achievement. The research method used is survey with a quantitative approach. Data were collected using questionnaires, interviews, documentation. questionnaire was adapted from the Attitude Motivation Test Battery (AMTB) designed by Gardner. results showed that 52% of students took an active role English. Students are relative "highly" motivated learn have good chance educational goals. In conclusion, instrumental significant factor among SMAN 5 Lubuklinggau Based data documents about scores, affects achievement.
